News Description
The Brazilian economy has performed better than expected in the first semester, but there are signs that it is already slowing down sharply, associate fellow Alessandro Merli writes in an article for the Milan think-tank, ISPI. Moreover, the Lula government does not seem to be willing to undertake the reforms necessary to boost the growth potential in the longer term.
