In recent years thousands of Moroccan minors have left their country to try to live in Europe. They travel without parents or legal guardians, many of them sneaking into boats and vehicles that cross the Mediterranean to the Spanish mainland. They are known by the technical acronym UAMs (Unaccompanied Foreign Minors).

They are the protagonists of many news reports, and everyone has an opinion about them, but who really knows them? What is known about them?

"Vidas Menores" accompanies several of these boys at different times during their migratory journey from Morocco all the way to Sweden. Over the course of a year and a half, the camera portrays their daily lives as they live it, allowing us to know more about who they are...

A story that avoids Manichean speeches and value judgments, without "expert opinions" or voice-overs, told from a human and humanist perspective and focused exclusively on better understanding this reality.
