BIPR | Bologna Peacebuilding Forum 2023 - Peace in Europe and Beyond
Bologna Peacebuilding Forum 2023 - Peace in Europe and Beyond

May 3, 2023 - 09:30

Bologna Peacebuilding Forum 2023 - Peace in Europe and Beyond
Organized by the Agency of Peacebuilding, in cooperation with the Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe

The war in Ukraine has generated impressive disruption in Europe, and its effects are reshaping global peace and security governance. International organizations, from the OSCE to the UN, have struggled to find their role in the crisis and have remained marginal so far. New multilateral formats are under discussion or taking shape, such as the European Political Community that gathers 44 countries of the Eurasian continent. The Bologna Peacebuilding Forum 2023 will provide the opportunity to analyze and discuss these scenarios and possible trajectories for peace in the European continent.
