Politica in Italia / Italian Politics. Edizione 2025 - A One-Day Workshop


Organized by Istituto Carlo Cattaneo, Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe, and Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute

A partire dal 1986 l'Istituto Cattaneo pubblica l'annuario Politica in Italia / Italian Politics che raccoglie contributi di studiosi sia italiani che stranieri sui principali avvenimenti politici e sociali dell'anno precedente. Ogni volume dell'annuario include inoltre una cronologia quotidiana degli avvenimenti più salienti e un'appendice in cui sono riportati i risultati delle principali consultazioni elettorali oltre a dati statistici inediti o di difficile reperibilità.

Tutti i volumi della serie vengono pubblicati sia in italiano che in inglese. In italiano dalla casa editrice Il Mulino. L'edizione inglese è stata pubblicata fino al 1993 da Pinter (Londra), poi da Westview Press (Boulder, Colorado), dal 1999 da Berghahn Books (Oxford e New York). Dal 2018 esce invece come fascicolo monografico della rivista Contemporary Italian Politics.

Le versioni preliminari di ciascun capitolo vengono discusse in un incontro annuale organizzato insieme alla Johns Hopkins University SAIS-Europe, con sede a Bologna, e al Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies dell'European University Institute, con sede a Fiesole, che sono diventati in tempi diversi partner del Cattaneo nel progetto dell'annuario.
