Mr. Gallo was Senior Municipal Finance Specialist at the World Bank (2000-2018). At the World Bank he also held positions as World Bank Program Manager for the City Creditworthiness Initiative; Program Manager for the IFC/WB Norwegian Trust Fund for Private Sector (NTF-PSI); Program Leader for the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility’s (PPIAF) Sub-National Technical Assistance Program (SNTA); Team Leader for World Bank sub-national finance technical assistance in Uganda, Zambia, Peru, Malawi, Tanzania, Malaysia, and Turkey. He was posted in long-term field-assignments in Peru and Tanzania. He has an MA from The Johns Hopkins University, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Bologna.
