Tommaso Milani is a historian of Modern Europe. He earned his PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His first monograph, on Hendrik de Man and the transformation of interwar social democracy, was published in 2020. His research interests include the transnational history of socialism during the Twentieth Century and different models of economic planning in Europe and the United States. He taught at Balliol College, University of Oxford, and at the LSE before moving to the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in 2019. More recently, he has been a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) and a Simone Veil Fellow at Project House Europe, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU).
