In an article published on Danish news site Information titled "Former top diplomat on Ban Ki-moon case: 'It's not just unfortunate. It is totally wrong,'" former UN diplomat Soeren Jessen-Petersen expresses his concern that the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon felt compelled to write personally to the Danish Prime Minster concerning his worries about the tightening of Denmark's immigration laws. Jessen-Petersen believes it is equally worrying that the Secretary General's concern was not taken seriously by the Danish government.
