The First Impeachment: from a Comparative Study of its British Historical Roots to a Contextual Analysis
June 10, 2021

Justin O. Frosini
Robert Abernethy Adjunct Professor
News Description
Justin O. Frosini is co-author of a paper published by DPCE Online that undertakes a comparative analysis of the British historical roots of impeachment with modern contexts, particularly as they relate to articles of impeachment against former President Trump. According to Frosini, the dynamics at play in shaping American partisanship are also shaping electoral oversight, constitutional interpretation, and the scope of executive powers.
